Licensed Professional Counselor, Founder, EMDR Therapist
Hi, I’m V! I’m a licensed professional counselor, EMDR therapist, and the founder of BREATHE—a creative collective rooted in the belief that healing happens best in safe, expressive, and connected spaces.
BREATHE stands for Building Resilience Emotionally & Artistically Through Healing Expression. The “in co” is intentional—it means in community, in collaboration, in collective healing. Because none of this happens alone. We exist through powerful partnerships with local mental health programs, music schools, artists, and the generous support of our donors and patrons.
I’m a Filipino-American, Bay Area-raised, Texas-based therapist with a heart for making therapy more accessible and culturally attuned—especially for immigrants, first/1.5 gen folx, families, first responders, and communities who’ve had to hold their stories quietly for too long.
I believe therapy can be creative, expressive, and rooted in freedom—not just symptom relief. That’s why BREATHE IN CO exists: to make space for art, music, story, healing and mental health to come together.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually exploring fun things with my kids, gardening, or enjoying a mid-day coffee date with my husband. Life’s full—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Whether you’re just beginning your healing work or already deep in the process, you’re welcome here.
Let’s breathe, build, and heal—together.
Based in Georgetown, TX & serving all of Texas virtually.

I use an attachment-based, trauma-focused approach, incorporating EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to support individuals and couples navigating the impacts of generational and occupational trauma. Whether you’re healing from the past or seeking deeper connection in your relationships, I’m here to help you grow, build resilience, and move forward with intention.
Generational trauma is passed down through families—often through epigenetics—but the cycle can be interrupted. Therapy allows us to take inventory of your mental and emotional health, make mindful shifts, and create sustainable patterns that deactivate trauma responses and promote healing. If you’ve experienced abuse, loss, immigration, relocation, or feel like your struggles were inherited, you may be carrying generational trauma.
Occupational trauma arises from exposure to stress or trauma in the workplace, either directly or vicariously. It’s especially common among first responders, healthcare professionals, military members, educators, ministry leaders, and even stay-at-home parents. Chronic stress and emotional overload don’t have to be your norm—therapy offers a safe space to process and release what you carry.
Healing is never one-size-fits-all.
At BREATHE, we believe in collaborative, holistic care. We partner with trusted local professionals who offer support in movement, nutrition, inflammation reduction, and creative expression—so your healing can be full-spectrum.
